The complete Woodturning Basics Course is a twelve session, hands-on class designed for the beginning turner. In this series, the student is introduced to the foundations of basic wood turning. There are 3 workshops in this series and each workshop is comprised of four - 3 hour sessions (A, B, C, and D). The entire series is comprised of 12 sessions. Each Session builds on the skills and techniques learned the previous session.

• Laying out the pieces
• Cutting and gluing ring segments
Session 3B
• Prepping and gluing the ring segments
Session 3C
• Mounting the first bowl section
• Rough turning the first section
• Attaching the next section and turning

• Introduction to off center turning
• Making tool handles
